This has been the week of some serious developments within the Packard household. So hold on to your hats folks, this post may get a little long!
For those of you who do not know, we have been on an endeavor to purchase a house for the past year. We have found and loved many houses, made offers that have eventually fallen through for one reason or another. Though we have the faith that our lives are lead by a higher power, it has still been a source of the "why me-s". Most recently we had an offer on a short sale house in Zillah. After four months there still was no word of bank acceptance. We have excellent jobs and credit and our offer was above asking price. (This country has got to get its mortgage situation figured out!) It felt like I wanted it so bad, almost to the point of pushing against the pricks. Any who, eventually we started to have some misgivings about the whole situation. Again we felt lead to start looking yet again! We made a deal to look at a minimum of ten houses. WE SAW SOME DOOZIES!
To make this story bearable, WE FOUND OUR FOREVER HOME! Oh how blessed we are that we have been lead to this point. We finally found the house that meets ALL of our criteria. Meaning that Andrew gets what is important to him, I get what is important to me and there is room for our family to grow. Talk about a win win situation. The offer is accepted and we start the inspection process today. This is the part of the post where I would normally post a picture for everyone, but we as of now do not have one. Yesterday I wanted to take a Sunday drive and just snap a quick picture...no harm no foul. Andrew reminded me however that with people still living there it might seem kind of stalkerish. I can see the point....:D. So today, at the inspection we will snap as many as possible. I cant wait to have company over! Thanksgiving anyone?

In other news we have had some new developments in the land of Emilee this week. That is right folks, my little girl is now sitting and army crawling. The world is no longer safe.....and I need to keep my floor way cleaner! I also thought it was important that Jaxson still knows how to sit, he has been doing this for many years. :D

Jaxson has been quite the character lately. I think that though this has been the toughest age so far, it is by far the funniest age. He is always making little quips that keep me cracking up for days. For example not but the other morning I went to his bedroom to wish him a good morning. "Oh man mom do NOT try to kiss me! You have poisonous apple breath!" I must admit that I am still laughing. Honestly, poison apples? Been watching a little to much Snow White lately? I love the mind of a child and I find it sad that we loose that as we get older.
This week Jaxsons class participated in an event at the junior high school. While the Star Spangled Banner was sung the children used sign language for the words. He was one proud boy. For days he would go around singing or making me sing while he signed. He never quite got all the words and still sings "And the rockets are big, when they burst in the air." How does that not bring an automatic smile to your face? I did take a video on my cell phone but the file is to large to upload so for now......a poor quality pic will have to do.
