Easter

One year ago ...Easter weekend....we moved into our house. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. We still have boxes in the garage but then again what awesome household does not?
To celebrate we decided to go all out!
We went to the Wards Easter Egg Hunt and had a blast.
We will so be adding this event to our tradition list.

From the moment we got there Jaxson could hardly contain himself. Emilee also found it hard to contain her absolute disdain for being there.

Yep, thats the face!

This is only a small fraction of the children who came to gather eggs.

This is the view from the bottom of the yard. The lawn was covered in eggs.
Seriously.....AWESOME!

Eventually little miss dropped the scowl and decided that she might potentially be interested in what everyone was running to pick up.

Can I just say I love this outfit?

Jaxson ...aka "The Blur"
Emilee finally getting the hang of 13 egg pick up.

The closest I could come to getting him to stop for a picture.

Someone is now discovering that the eggs can open and are FILLED with candy.

This is the part where we made Jaxson return half his eggs because the rule was take 13.....not 26! Emilee shortly returned to the scowl once the candy supply was cut off. This little girl loves chocolate....(just like her daddy).

Chillin' potluck style after the main event.
This is also the time when we decided...."Hey, lets go see your parents this weekend."
(Andrews parents)

My contribution to the potluck.
Andrew thinks I am a nut for bringing so much food.
I say one can never have enough food!
(P.S. there was nothing left but empty dishes to bring home)

Being married to a Packard has some serious perks. We were packed and loaded in the car for our getaway with in an hour.

Little sister loves that doll.

Our view from the front is pretty great.

Nana and Pop-pop's house is a child's paradise. The kids never had a still moment. There was always something to do or explore. Nana Lori has a gift with children!

Pop pop, Andrew and I laughed and shared stories.
I love looking out the big window to the meadow below. (need to take a picture next time I am there)The big comfy chair makes that view all the better.
Ric is looking better and better every time we see him. Lori is defiantly doing something right.

Jaxson loves this toy.
It's some little stick thing that blows the ball.
I know....my explanations are so technical and accurate!

This was the week Emilee started to insist that we wrap her baby in the blanket, so she could unwrap it and then we could re wrap it. We do this over and over again through out the day. (Secretly, I love it) Pushing that baby in a stroller or shopping cart is her favorite thing! I love to see that nurturing instinct develop!

High speed baby!

Not sure what was happening when this photo was taken...but Andrew looks really happy...
You can see the deep bruising and scar on Andrews left eye.....what a stud man!
