Bink

As I sit here typing, I am also being entertained by a video of a panda playing in snow for the first time while my husband nerds out over space science. Why am I telling you this? I feel it offers proof that procrastination of homework can be absolutely delightful! Also, that my multi-tasking skills are really starting to pay off.

Tonight, I was reminded of a family tradition that was recently started by my sweet Penny Lou. So sweet and precious is this tradition,  I would be absolutely destroyed if I ever forgot about it. Therefore.... in consequence of... and as evidenced by, it must be documented.

The BINK

In our house, this simple gesture conveys a magnitude of feelings.
Love, Kindness, Joy, Excitement...all in one touch.
It is our family motto if you will.
Before I go to work I hear "Mom, we need a bink!" Before the kids go to bed "Mom, we need a bink" Pretty much anytime love needs to be communicated, the kids choose to show that via a bink.
What started out as an innocent gesture by and 18 month old, has turned into a tradition that I hope will last a lifetime.

~In Other News~

Jaxson said the following to Andrew after I had burped. "Dad, you are so lucky to have a woman that burps like a man!"

Emilee is hooked on saying that things are creepy. "Oh Mom, look at Be-a's lips! They are so creepy!" She has started talking so much lately...I love it.

Penny has larger than life facial expressions in order to convey how she is feeling. It cracks me up.

Facebook Posts I want to Remember!

I have one child (Jaxson) picking up dog poop as a punishment, the other (Emilee) is voluntarily picking it up for fun. Life....it's all about perspective
